It was standing room only for the trunk show and fashion presentation Saturday at Neiman Marcus Walnut Creek! Guests showed up ready to shop and mingle at the champagne reception and presentation by FUSE Fashion Magazine’s Fashion Editor, Cynthia Jackson. FUSE Fashion Magazine featured our own designer and founder of JMD, Jennifer Montana on it’s June cover along with an interview including Jennifer and fellow founders, Julie Wallunas and Marianne Bouza. The June/July issue came out June 15th. Click here to subscribe … it’s free!
Along with FUSE and JMD, a representative from CJ by Cookie Johnson premium denim rounded out the panel presentation. Models walked the audience adorned with the latest trends including, of course, JMD vintage one-of-a-kind necklaces and CJ Jeans. They were beautiful and on trend with tops, jackets and shoes from Neiman Marcus. Each of the models were over 35, in keeping with the focus of FUSE Fashion Magazine’s 35-65, Ageless Fashion, Ageless Women mantra. FUSE founder and Editor in Chief, Penelope Bent-Lippincot, introduced her amazing staff and kicked off the presentation. Meghan Mino Murray, Public Relations Manager for NM Walnut Creek, was also on hand to greet and mingle with the NM customers and special guests.
Once the presentation was over, the shopping really began! Guests tried on vintage pieces along with our Chain Reaction Necklaces with inspirational words hand stamped on them. Customers had a hard time deciding which “word” spoke to them. In many cases, one necklace was simply not enough! Our guests LOVED that 80% of JMD’s net profits go to help our communities, and the manufacturing actually creates jobs through Harbor House of Oakland. Buying and wearing a JMD necklace supports the spirit of giving and giving back.
We want to express a special thank you to all of the Neiman Marcus sales associates who so graciously and enthusiastically publicized and promoted the beautiful JMD line to their loyal customers! JMD LOVES Neiman Marcus!
